Deputies responded to the Kroger in Wheelersburg at 4 pm after witnesses reported that a man in a black pickup was offering customers drugs in exchange for their groceries.
When police arrived at the store, they found the man passed out in the truck. They learned the vehicle had recently been reported missing by the man’s grandmother.
When she arrived on the scene, she decided not to press charges against her grandson.
