Domestic Disturbance

At 6:11 pm, police responded to a report of a domestic incident on 6th Street. A man said that a woman who took out a restraining order against him showed up to harass him. He was attempting to sleep in his vehicle as he can’t go home due to the protective order.

Police said the woman tried to leave when police arrived. Police cited her for driving under a suspended license and impounded her vehicle.

Unruly Teen

A 17th Street Mom contacted police at 6:49 to report her son was acting unruly due to a missing phone charger.

Caught in the Act

At 10:16 pm, a caller said two men pulled up in front of the Shawnee Apartments, hopped out of a truck, and started spray painting a vehicle at the scene.

One of the men showed an open warrant. Police released the vandalized truck to the son of the vehicle owner. Officers discovered the vehicle had fake tags. The tags on that vehicle actually belonged to one of Community Action’s vehicles.

An officer put the tags back on the correct vehicle.
