Officers responded to St. Rt. 140 near Oak Hill Branch Road after a report a man had passed out behind the wheel of a car on the road.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a heavily intoxicated man and called for an ambulance.
Officers followed the ambulance to the hospital without incident, and an Ohio State Trooper stayed on the scene with the vehicle.
