A Portsmouth, Ohio, man had a narrow escape after his lady friend’s fiancé came home unexpectedly.
Just after 10 pm, a man contacted police to say a man pulled a shotgun on him and his girlfriend and that the girlfriend was still inside the apartment.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a complicated situation. A man came home to the apartment he shared with his fiancé and heard another man’s voice. Thinking there was an intruder, he pulled his shotgun to confront the intruder.
The fellow his fiancé had been sleeping with managed to escape out of the home unharmed. Police determined he did not threaten the man who reported the incident.
Police left the couple to work things out.
