A man called 911 just after 10 pm to report his fiancée’s husband tried to run him and the woman off the road in Wheelersburg.
When officers met up with the man near 52 Mini Storage, he told them the husband made the woman get out of the car and threatened to kill them. He told police he was homeless and living in his car and that the woman’s husband found them out driving in her vehicle and tried to run them off the road.
He said the man then said the vehicle belonged to him and told them both to get out of his car. An officer gave the man a ride back to the vehicle he lived in and tried to check in on the female half. She told police she was fine.
The husband arrived while officers were there, and he admitted he tried to make them pull over. He told the man to get out of his car. He said he and his wife had four children and were trying to work through their problems.
Shortly afterward, officers were involved in another love triangle when a Bennett Street man said the guy who was dating his ex drove by his house and shot in the air. He said the man was now at the end of his driveway yelling at him.
The angry man left before officers arrived, but they headed out to house to speak to him about the situation.
