A man called 911 at 8:45 am to say he was trapped inside the old Armory Building on 17th Street. He seemed a bit confused on the phone, so the operator wasn’t positive he was actually inside.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered there was no one in the building except the janitor. They managed to trace the phone call to an address on Auburn Avenue.

An officer spoke to the man and asked the Area Office on Aging to make a referral to get the man assistance. The man apologized for the inconvenience.
