A traffic stop turned into a trip to the Scioto County Jail for a man who skipped out on a court hearing earlier in the month.

Officers only issued a warning for the traffic violation, but discovered that William Barry had an open warrant after failing to show up for his sentencing hearing after pleading guilty to possessing a fentanyl-related compound back in April.
Officers booked Barry into the Scioto County Jail on a charge of failure to appear.
