Man Steals Mom’s Mercedes
An unhappy Wheelersburg mom contacted officers just after 11 pm to report that her son had made off with her Mercedes. Officers took information from the woman.
Officers weren’t able to locate the son, but the woman called back around 1:30 am to say he’d returned with the vehicle and then taken off again.
Man Can’t Find Car After Night of Drinking
A man contacted police at 11:30 pm to report that someone took his vehicle from the Fishbowl, and he wasn’t sure where it was.
Officers checked in the vicinity of the man’s home but could not locate the vehicle. Police eventually found it near the railroad tracks across from the Mitchellace building.
It turned out that a sober friend had given the highly intoxicated man a ride home, and he’d forgotten where he parked it.
Officers secured his vehicle for him to pick up later.
