Man Threatened With Gun, Hit With Bat

Officers responded to Kentland Avenue just after 6 pm after a report a man threatened a man with a pistol and then hit him with a bat.  

When police arrived on the scene, they took a man into custody. The victim refused an ambulance.  

After searching Jason McGoron’s car, officers arrested him for assault and aggravated menacing. Police booked him into the Scioto County Jail.

UPDATE

Both charges against McGoron were ultimately dismissed on 02/27/24 after being heard by Judge Steven Mowery. The Judge stipulated a no-contact order with Joeseph Williams, the other party involved.
