West Side neighbors called 911 at 7 pm to report some disturbing behavior.
They said a man was standing in the road and screaming.
Another caller said the man was throwing beer cans and screaming that he would “kill the whole neighborhood.”
When officers headed to the scene, they located the man and told him to go back to his yard and stay inside. Deputies warned that if he didn’t, they would arrest him.
Woman Hospitalized After Police Respond to Speedway
Just after 3:30 am, Speedway employees reported an apparently high woman who seemed to be having a mental health crisis at their Gallia Street store.
When officers arrived on the scene, she told them a man had hit her. However, she did not want to talk to the police or give them any details.
Officers called for EMS and medics transported the woman to SOMC for treatment.
