Man Threatens to Kill Wife at Restaurant
Just after 11:30 am, deputies received a call from a woman who said her husband threatened to kill her earlier in the day while they were at a restaurant in Portsmouth. She said she contacted PPD, but they told her to call the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office since they lived in Lucasville.
The woman was too afraid to go home and met with officers at a gas station. She said she was concerned the man might have a gun on him.
Another deputy went looking for the man, and officers advised her to get a protection order and stay somewhere else for the time being.
