Portsmouth, Ohio Police dealt with several individuals suffering from drug and mental health issues, including a man who threatened gas station customers.
At 11:49 am, a caller reported a man lying on the sidewalk at 4th and Chillicothe.
Just 10 minutes later, a witness at the Dollar General on Harding reported a shirtless man running back and forth in the parking lot yelling nonsense at people.
A few minutes after that, officers responded to Valero Gas on Gallia for a report of a man causing an issue in the store and refusing to leave. He told customers on the lot he would stab and shoot them.
Officers are familiar with the troubled man, and they advised him to stay out of the store.
