A frantic mom called 911 just after 7 pm to say her son had broken down the door of her 29th Street home, and was now threatening to hit her.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the man had a knife. Police blocked traffic and attempted to take the man into custody.

Officers were forced to use a TASER to restrain the man. Once they subdued the man, police called for an ambulance.
Medics transported the man to SOMC.
