Manhunt After Grandson Stabs Grandma

Manhunt After Grandson Stabs Grandma

Police launched a manhunt after a grandson viciously attacked his grandmother in the early hours of Saturday morning.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call came in at 4 am on Saturday. When EMS and officers rushed to a home on Hall & Davis Road they found a 70-year-old woman who had been stabbed in the face, neck, and chest. The woman told deputies her grandson was the attacker and that he’d fled the scene.

EMS workers rushed the woman to the hospital and officers began the hunt for 26-year-old Dylan Watters. They caught up with Watters on McCarty Lane near the ParMar gas station just after 8 am.

Officers took him into custody and booked him into the Jackson County Correctional Facilities. The Sheriff’s Office says charges are pending based on the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
