Manhunt For Armed and Dangerous Kidnapper 

Local law enforcement is on the hunt for an alleged kidnapper after an incident in Pike County on Sunday morning. The Pike County Sheriff’s Office says a report of an armed kidnapping came in around 10 am on Sunday. When deputies spotted a vehicle matching the suspect’s description, they tried to pull it over, however the driver took off.   

Officers say they found the victim around 2 pm, walking in the road. Law enforcement is still on the hunt for Timothy Joe Brown. Brown is currently on parole and ODRC calls him “armed and dangerous.”  Since his parole he’s already been arrested twice, once for theft and once for parole violation. 

Brown is facing additional charges of abduction, domestic violence, aggravated menacing, assault, and burglary. Officials say he is 6’6″ and 300 lbs. If you spot him, do not approach. Contact law enforcement immediately.

Timothy Joe Brown was apprehended on Tuesday, Feb 28th. He has been charged with Aggravated Robbery, Abduction, and Failure to Comply. Each count is a Felony.

Brown is currently held at the Scioto County Jail with no bail.
