Marilyn J. Bergman, 80., of Fort Wayne, IN., went to be with her Lord Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Cantebury Nursing & Rehab in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Greenup, KY., September 3, 1943 a daughter of the late Zack and Clara Boyles Marshall.
Marilyn was of the Christian Faith and a 1961 Graduate of McKell High School.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bergman; three brothers, Johnny Marshall, Ralph Marshall and Earl Marshall; five sisters, Alalyne Marshall, Nellie Alexander, Virginia Hieneman, Frita Sue Marshall and Linda Lou Marshall.
Left behind two cherish her memory are two sons, James Bergman of New Haven, IN., and Jeff (Angie) Berman of Conyers, GA; one brother, Cecil Marshall of Soth Shore, KY; two sisters, Ann Wells of South Shore, KY., and Dottie Evans of Cumberland, MD; four grandchildren, Keith Bergman, Rachel Bergman, Molly Seftick and Jonmorgan Bergman; eight great-grandchildren and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at South Shore First Christian Church 28199 US-23 South Shore, KY., with Brett Unger officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
