Mary Anne Adams, 75, of Rarden passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born on September 10, 1950 in Portsmouth to the late Ernest Raymond Spears and Mary Lucille Hull Spears. On March 17, 1972, she was united in marriage to Edgar Vondale Adams, who preceded her in death on September 4, 2025.
Surviving are her 3 daughters, Michelle Adams (Scott Ross), April (Dwayne) Litreal, Darla Gill (Gary Howard); 7 grandchildren, Destiny, Desirae, Cruz, Kiara, Trey, Isaiah, Christian; 8 great-grandchildren, Ryder, Elaina, Demitri, Everleigh, Lane, Vitani, Bella, Scott. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Jimmy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Joy Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
