Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Lowe’s for a report that a man stole a Serta Mattress from the store. Witnesses said the man was sitting in a white vehicle near the lumber department.
Another witness said the man and a female companion were walking in the direction of the Dollar Tree. When a deputy caught up with the pair, the man ran. The officer deployed a stun gun.
EMS workers removed the Taser prongs but decided the man did not need further medical treatment. Officers discovered the man had an open warrant and transported him to the Scioto County Jail.
