A McDermott man was killed in a head-on crash on Colley Road in Rush Township.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 10:40 a.m.
According to troopers, Dianna Monroe, 57, of McDermott, was driving a 2022 Ford F-350 pickup truck northbound on Colley Road.
At the same time, Joseph Maynard, 40, of McDermott, was driving a 2000 Ford Mustang southbound.
Troopers said Maynard was traveling left of center when the vehicles collided head-on.
Maynard died from his injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead by the Scioto County Coroner.
Monroe was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Rush Township Fire Department, Scioto EMS, and the Scioto County Coroner assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
