Mentally Disabled Woman Reports Sex Assault

A mentally disabled woman reported a sexual assault and a man claimed a fatal attraction. We break down the Portsmouth Police Chief’s Daily Briefing.

Fatal Attraction

A man contacted Portsmouth Police just before 1 am to complain about a woman following and harassing him.

He said she hit him with her car but not hard enough to knock him or his bike down. He claimed he’d started “talking” with her about a week prior but tried to break it off when he determined she was “crazy.”

The man claimed she refused to leave him alone and actually resorted to chasing him. Police attempted to make contact with the woman but she didn’t answer the door at her apartment.

He declined to file a report but said he’d get back in touch with police if the woman continued to stalk him.
