Michael Eugene Cline Sr., 70 of West Portsmouth died at home on June 26, 2021. He was born April 2, 1951, to the late Barney and Lavina Ryan Cline. Along with his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife, Patricia Applegate, who he married June 17, 1971; a son, John Allen Cline; a grandson, Michael Jacob Cline; a granddaughter, Evelyn Shultz; 3 brothers, Darrell, Gary Sr., and Donnie Cline; a sister, Gayle Kirby; and a son-in-law Terry Barnett Sr.
Michael was a retired machinery operator for Osco and loved anything outdoors, including gardening, woodworking, and his dogs.
Michael is survived by a son, Michael (Debra) Cline Jr.; 4 daughters, Laurie Barnett, Tracey Cline, Jodella Cline, and Michelle (Jason) Shultz; 3 brothers, Ronnie Cline Sr, Kevin Cline, and Charles Cline; 5 sisters, Jean Evans, Diana Crabtree, Brenda Robinson, Linda King, and Lavina Keys; 7 grandchildren, Kaylynn (Chase) Leeth, Caleb “Ethan” Cline, Terry “TJ” Barnett, Jordan (Kelsie) Cline-Hood, Patrick Cline, Jonathon (Bekah) Shultz, and Joseph (Katie) Shultz; 2 great grandchildren, Hadlee and Colton Jacob Leeth,; and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home with Don Evans officiating and burial in Scioto Burial Park to follow.
