Michael Paul Reed, 56, of Lucasville passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at SOMC Hospice. He was born January 7, 1966, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Paul William and Patricia Ann Allen Reed, and was a 1985 Valley High School graduate. Mike was a member of the Ohio Firefighters Association and attended Valley Chapel Church.
He is survived by four sisters, Becky (Bill) Reed, Rita (Gary) Arthur, Tina (Elton) Barfield, Robin (Greg) Ray; three brothers, Guy (Kim) McCoy, Patrick (Anna) McCoy, Timothy Reed, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nephews, Kevin Barfield, Patrick McCoy, Jr. and Brandon Denny.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Bernie Twinam officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
