Michael Edward Zeune, 74, of Wheelersburg, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, at home. Born on May 29, 1947, in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late William Edward and Jacquelin Joy Schisler Zeune and was a Navy veteran. Mike was a member of the James Dickey Post #23 of the American Legion.
Surviving are a brother, Steve (Jane) Zeune of Columbus; a niece, Jennifer Skerness and her son, Noah Skerness; a nephew, Scott (Courtney) Zeune and their daughter, Natalie Zeune; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and cousins whom he vacationed with every year, Greg Whitehouse and Doug Whitehouse.
The family would like to especially thank Mary Ann Dodd and Carol Siegling for all of the care they provided.
A service will be held at Noon on Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery. Military honors will be rendered by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion.
The flags on the avenue, along with the United States Navy flag, will fly in honor of our fallen comrade, Mike Zeune;
A procession will leave BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE at 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
