Miss Kentucky goes topless for a student and will pay for life.
A former Miss Kentucky admits to sharing explicit photos with a student and has been sentenced to two years in West Virginia.
Ramsey BethAnn Bearse, 29, was also given 10 years of supervision upon her release. Bearse will be required to register as a sex offender and remain on the list for the rest of her life.
Bearse was apprehended in December 2018 and was initially charged with four counts of sending obscene material to a minor. She admitted that she sent at least four topless images via Snapchat to a 15-year-old former student. She was a teacher at Andrew Jackson Middle School in Cross Lanes, West Virginia.
The boy’s parents discovered the images on his phone and forwarded them to the authorities.
Bearse was crowned Miss Kentucky in 2014. Bearse used the stage name Ramsey Carpenter during her appearances.
Oh, and she played a mean fiddle.
