Missing Children Found at Robinson Avenue Apartment Twice in Two Days
Officers searching for a missing juvenile got a tip that the kid might be at a PMHA Apartment on Robinson Avenue.
Police received consent from the residents to search and located the child in the home. Officers transported the child to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
The next day, officers were back at the same apartment for a report of two runaway juveniles in the home. When officers knocked on the door, no one answered, and they tried contacting the resident over the phone. She said she couldn’t give permission since she didn’t own the apartment.
Eventually, maintenance workers allowed officers inside, where they found the two children. Police contacted CPS and transported the children to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Man Busted After Running From Police
Officers attempted to stop a suspicious person in the 1900 block of 17th Street just before midnight. The man took off, but officers caught up with him within five minutes.
Police took him into custody for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business, and also impounded several items. This was his fourth arrest in the past two months.
Police arrested him at the end of December for criminal trespass, in January for menacing, and in February for violating a protection order.
He was booked into the Scioto County Jail, and the court released him on his own recognizance.
