Missing Piketon Child Found on Offnere Street
Portsmouth Police joined in the search for a child reported missing from Piketon just after 5 pm.
An officer located the missing child at a gas station at 11th and Offnere and gave the child a ride back to the county line, where the juvenile was released to the care of Piketon Police.
Man, Who Made Shooting Threats Returns to Portsmouth Senior Lofts
The man who allegedly threatened to shoot up the Portsmouth Senior Lofts when no one would give him a cigarette returned to the property and caused a stir.
Residents contacted police to report he was back on the property sitting in the gazebo. Officers learned the man had been released from jail after the earlier incident, but were unable to bar him from the property since he’s currently a resident.
The apartment management was working to evict him.
