Missing Teen ODs

Officers and EMS responded to a report that a teenager had apparently overdosed just after 3 pm. When police arrived on the scene, they learned the child in question had recently been reported as a runaway.

An ambulance took the child to the hospital for treatment, and police removed the juvenile’s name from the missing list.

A few minutes later, police were called to the 17th Street Homeless Shelter for a report of a woman using drugs on the baby changing table. Officers found no proof of the drug activity but did advise the woman to leave the property at the shelter management’s request.

About an hour later, EMS and police headed to the Four Keys Inn for a report of a woman overdosing. An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital for treatment. Officers also arrested a man with an open warrant and took him to the Scioto County Jail.

At 6:30 pm, police received a report of someone passed out in the grass close to Michell Brothers. Police took a man into custody.
