Missing Woman Found on Carto Road
At 1:30 pm, a caller contacted deputies to report she believed she knew the location of her niece, who had been reported missing out of Greenup County. She said an anonymous tip said she was at a Carto Road home.
When officers arrived at the scene, the people in the home admitted the woman was indeed staying there, but she had just left to go to the emergency room.
Officers contacted the woman’s family and the Kentucky State Police to follow up.
Drunk Driver Reported on John Street
Just after 5:30 pm, John Street neighbor reported a suspected drunk driver. They said an SUV with the bumper hanging off ran off the road and almost hit a house before driving away erratically.
When officers arrived on the scene, neighbors said the driver appeared intoxicated and that the driver was the son of the owner of the vehicle.
However, no one would come to the door when officers knocked at the home.
