Missing Woman Found Safe
A man contacted officers just after 12:30 am to let them know that the search for his missing wife had a happy ending.
The man had reported his wife missing earlier in the day but managed to locate her in the psychiatric unit at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Police removed her from the missing persons’ database.
Officers were able to remove another missing person from their database when they located him at Alexandria House just after 9 am.
A worried Kentland Avenue neighbor asked officers to check on an elderly couple they hadn’t seen in a few days. Police checked in with the couple, who were fine, but had been at the hospital due to illness. They were released now and doing well.
Police Give Stranded Student a Ride
Officers came to the aid of a student stranded at Portsmouth High School without a ride home just before 8 am.
An officer gave the boy a ride home to Marshall Street and saved him a pretty long walk.
