MORE Veggies Recalled for Listeria

On the heels of a massive recall of deli meats and vegetables, there’s even more bad news!  Aldi is recalling produce sold at their stores in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

The products are Freshire Farms jalapenos, green peppers, and green beans. Food contaminated with Listeria may look fine, but can cause life-threatening infections.

Jalapeno

Green Pepper

Green Beans

If you ate any of the named produce and show symptoms like nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, headaches, or neck stiffness, contact a doctor immediately.  Pregnant women, the elderly, and children are at higher risk of serious complications.  Experts say pregnant women may present mild flu symptoms but that the infection can cause serious complications for an unborn child.

If you have this produce, return it to the store for a refund or throw it out.
