Naked Screaming Man, Woman with Knife Spotted in New Boston 

Just after 2 am, Portsmouth Police Officers were called in to lend a helping hand to New Boston Officers.  

NBPD had their hands full with a screaming naked man. PPD provided assistance.  

At 7:40 am, PPD once again answered the call from NBPD after a report came in that a woman with a knife was chasing someone in a parking lot. 

By the time PPD arrived, the suspect had left the area. New Boston Officers took a report.  

Sister Steals Brother’s Vapes, Knife, & Phone Charger 

Just after 12:30 am, officers responded to a 2nd Street apartment building after a man claimed his sister stole his phone, wallet, and knife.  

Police then headed to the homeless shelter to speak to the sister. She handed over 2 vapes, a phone charger, and some cigarettes but said she didn’t have anything else on her.  

The brother said he would check the homeless camp in the morning for the other missing items. He declined to file a report.  

At 8:25 pm, police headed to Kendal Avenue for a report of two women arguing. Police learned the two were angry over an allegedly stolen vape pen. Officers spoke to the pair.  

Shirtless Man Busts Out Window, Hits Woman 

Just before midnight, a Findlay Street caller said a shirtless man busted out the window of her vehicle and then hit her three times before fleeing on foot. 

Officers caught up with him at 9th and Findlay and took him into custody.  

The victim was treated and released from SOMC.
