Nancy Ruth Staggs, 86 of West Portsmouth died June 25, 2021, at SOMC Hospice. She was born June 24, 1935, to the late Elsworth “Pete and Ruth Elmore Young. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Staggs; 2 brothers, Danny Lee Young and David Young; and 2 sisters, Barbara Jean Justice and Billie Jo Davis.
Nancy was retired from Verizon as a telephone operator and loved her family more than anything.
Nancy is survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she loved like her own who felt the very same way.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Scioto Burial Park with Pastor Rick Phillips officiating. Friends may call at the graveside on Thursday starting at 12:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
