While You Were Sleeping
Police responded to a request for help for an unconscious many on an 11th Street porch at 6:33 pm. It turned out the man in question suffers from narcolepsy but was all right now.
However, it turned out he didn’t live at the address where he was sleeping on the porch. The residents called officers around 7:15 pm and the man agreed to leave the porch.
Abusive Landlord?
A woman asked police to check on her neighbor just before 9 pm. She said the woman whispered to her kids to call the police.
When police arrived on the scene, they said the woman appeared to be high. She claimed her landlord assaulted her but she refused to cooperate with the investigation and asked police to leave.
About an hour later, a caller reported a man and woman fighting at the same house. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to treat the woman’s injuries but she refused any assistance. She claimed she was hit but didn’t want help. Police noted both parties were intoxicated.
Drone Dilemma
A woman showed up at PPD headquarters to report threats from her family members just after 9 am. Additionally, she told police she believed she’d been implanted with a transmitter that allowed drones to follow her.
She told police this transmitter was implanted via donut. Officers said she’d made the same complaint multiple times. Police listened politely.
Rusty is an Honest Guy
- The laundry facility at SOMC contacted police at 9:33 am to report an employee named Rusty found a wallet. An officer picked up the wallet for safekeeping. Good work, Rusty.
- A caller outside the Sunset Lanes also reported a missing wallet containing bank cards and an ID just after 11 am. She thought it must have fallen out of her pocket. Let’s hope an honest guy like Rusty finds it.
