In addition to their regular duties, Scioto County Commissioners are taking on the role of Santa’s elves this holiday season by making sure kids’ letters make it to the North Pole.
Kids can write a letter to Santa and either drop it off at a special mailbox in the rotunda of the Scioto County Courthouse or mail their messages to:

Commissioners will read the letters aloud on Facebook during County Commission meetings.
All three Commissioners agreed that they very much enjoyed reading the letters last year and they are excited to do it again. Commissioner Bryan Davis promised that once the letters were read, they would “Forward them quickly to the North Pole. Santa needs a heads-up on that.”
County Commission meetings air live on Facebook on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and are also available for replay at any time once they’re completed.
