New Boston Police pulled off the traffic stop glow-up of the week on Friday, December 5th, after stopping a gray Honda Accord for the seemingly minor crime of improper display of a tag. 

Turns out, that tag was the least of this guy’s problems.

When officers took a closer look, they hit the jackpot — not the Powerball kind, but the “oh wow, you’re definitely going to jail” kind. 

Inside the car, police seized: 

Basically, everything except the “I swear these aren’t my pants” excuse. 

Charges? Oh, there are plenty. 

The driver, Justin Maxie, is now facing: 

New Boston police officers arrested Maxie and booked him into the Scioto County Jail. He was arraigned in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday morning, and a preliminary hearing is set for December 11. 

Maxie is not new to the justice system. His past convictions include:

Police posted a photo of the cash, drugs, and weapon spread out on a table like a very illegal yard sale. Social media loved it — because nothing says “Season’s Greetings” like a holiday display of seized narcotics.
