A woman contacted police at 1 am to report her brother stole her microwave and she could not heat up her frozen meals.

Officers spoke with the brother at 1:30 am. He said the microwave was a gift from his mother. He agreed to let his sister have it to keep family harmony.

Officers Investigate Noisy Pot-Smoker

Just after 3 am, police responded to a report of loud music coming from a PMHA apartment. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered an open window and said you could hear loud music and TV commercials all the way out on the street.

They knocked repeatedly on the door before the resident opened it and noted a strong smell of pot coming from the apartment as well as a spent 45 round on the sidewalk. Police said the man was verbally combative but eventually agreed to turn down the sound.

Officers said they would step up patrols in the area.
