Nola Ruth Kelley, 87, of Lucasville, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Courtyard of Wheelersburg. She was born February 13, 1939 in New Boston, a daughter of the late James and Thelma Slone. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University, was a special education teacher and substitute teacher. Nola was a homemaker, a member of Sunshine Church of Christ and Garden Club.
She is survived by one son, Christopher (Tabitha) Kelley; two grandchildren, Coleman Thomas Kelley, Julia Grace Kelley; one daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kelley, and one brother, Donald Slone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Kelley on November 23, 2019; one son, Timothy Kelley, and six brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted at Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum – Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg with Jon Partlow officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
