Non-Compliant Sex Offenders: Police Need Your Help

sex offenders

Ohio keeps a public database of all convicted sex offenders who are required to register with the state. The idea is that by keeping track of their movements and alerting the public to their locations, police may be able to stop them from re-offending. But not all offenders play by the rules of their release.

According to the state, here is a list of local offenders who have not registered.

Christopher Anderson, whose last known address was US 23 was convicted of sex assault in Arkansas in 2009 and released in 2011. The 38-year-old man should have registered as a sex predator but did not.

Patricia Barrett, whose last known address was in Portsmouth, was convicted for disseminating matter to juveniles back in 2009. According to the state, she is not in compliance with registering.

Eric West, 41, was last known to be in South Point. The state says he was required to register as a sex offender, but has not provided his address.

Ronald Anderson, 52, whose last known address was in Piketon, is also out of compliance with Ohio’s rules for sex offenders
