Norman C. Evans, 66, of Seaman, formerly of Portsmouth, died December 17, 2023, at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley. He was born in Portsmouth on January 6, 1957, to the late Ernest and Katherine (Welch) Evans. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby; and 4 sisters, Judy, Maggie, Faye, and Doris.
After high school, Norman went on to work as a cemetery attendant which he took immense pride in caring for.
He is survived by 4 sons, Jimmy (Courtney) Potts, Dakota (Stacey) Evans, Billy Potts, and Anthony (Nikki) Potts; 2 brothers, Larry, and Marty; 2 sisters, Louis and Geneva; countless beloved grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
