Nurse Investigated for Stealing Pills
An employee of a local nursing facility contacted officers at 2 pm to report an alleged incident involving the theft of medication just before 2 pm.
They said the Ohio Board of Nursing was investigating a nurse for allegedly stealing anti-narcotic pills as well as jewelry from patients.
Police took information for a report.

SCDN received further information from a source familiar with the situation. According to that source, at least one “Sharps Container” was included in the alleged theft.
According to the NIH, unscrupulous healthcare workers can “gain access to drugs despite the existing safeguards because (they steal) discarded syringes, vials, and patches that contain leftover drugs from biohazard boxes.”

Our source next reported that a search was conducted on a property said to be occupied by the suspect. At this time, the suspect has not been arrested as they continue to build the case.
