OD Victim Hides Fentanyl in Underwear – Medical Worker Gets Sick
A medical worker at SOMC reported feeling ill after treating an overdose patient who had hidden drugs in his underwear.
Officers were called to SOMC at 8:55 pm. Medical workers reported that an overdose victim had attempted to hide a bottle of apparent fentanyl in his underwear.
When medical personnel discovered the items, he first claimed it was a vape full of “spice” but later admitted it could be an opiate. He wasn’t sure which item in his undies was which, as he had tried to hide all of his drugs in liquid form.
A medical worker said she became light-headed when she touched the vial of drugs. Officers obtained information for a report and impounded the drugs.
