Drugs seem to be at the root of most of the calls local law enforcement personnel respond to, and a narcotics complaint on Snook Road ended up with an ambulance called for the suspect and an injured officer.
The initial call of an apparent high man running around Snook Road yelling at people came in just after 7 p.m.
Deputies arrived on the scene within 10 minutes and took a man into custody. They determined he needed medical attention and sent for an ambulance.
Officers ended up dropping off another individual at a nearby home.
However, during the investigation, an officer injured their left knee and decided to go home sick for the day after filing the arrest paperwork.
