Officers Hunt For Lost Mail
Deputies stepped in where the Post Office would not; to help retrieve a mis-delivered package on Carol Street.
A caller contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report that the Post Office mis-delivered her package to a neighbor’s house.
When the woman spoke to the postal carrier, they told her the address of the house where they left the package. Neither the woman nor the Postal Carrier were willing to go to that address to check for the package.
A deputy retrieved the package and returned it to the intended recipient.
