Officers responded to a trailer park near St. Rt. 139 at 10 pm for a report of an assault.
Witnesses said a man suffering from a brain tumor. He had a broken jaw and was knocked unconscious.
When officers arrived, they learned the victim had woken up and walked back to his trailer after the incident. The officer observed there were multiple intoxicated people on the scene who appeared to have gotten into an argument.
Deputies tried to speak to the involved parties, but everyone refused to cooperate with the investigation.
