Police responded to the 23100 block of Gallia Street after a man went into the Carpenter’s Union and said someone assaulted him in the alley by the garage.

When officers responded to the scene, they took a man into custody and impounded several items.
Officers charged Harry Vastine with assault and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
