A witness called 911 at 5 pm to report a frightening discovery near Mound Street. The caller said two men were slumped over in an SUV in the alley next to the Sunset Lanes. The caller said the men appeared to be dead.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the pair were both alive. They impounded multiple items from the vehicle and took the two men into custody. Police arranged to have the vehicle towed.
Police booked Jason Frye into the Scioto County Jail for possessing drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia, drug possession, and receiving stolen property and charged Waddell Lucas with receiving stolen property.
