Officers Revive Man With Narcan in Boundary Street Alley

Officers came to the rescue of a man discovered lying in the alley behind Boundary Street. Just after 2 pm, a caller reported an unconscious shirtless man. 

When officers arrived on the scene, they revived the man with a dose of Narcan and called for an ambulance. The man refused further medical treatment. 

Officers discovered he had an open warrant out of New Boston and advised him to take care of it. The man’s father said he would look after him. 

Gunshots Reported on River Avenue

Just after 5 am on Tuesday, officers responded to reports of gunshots on River Avenue.

Witnesses said they heard 8 to 10 shots in rapid succession, but officers only found two old shell casings in the yard of a home. 

Witnesses reported a white vehicle leaving the area after the shots were fired. Other witnesses reported hearing something but were unsure if it was gunshots or fireworks. 

Woman Followed By Road Ragers

A woman contacted officers just after 2 pm to report that individuals had followed her and accused her of hitting their car. 

When police responded to the scene, she told them she had pulled out in front of a vehicle near Greenlawn Cemetery, but there had been no collision. 

She said a woman got out of the other car and accused her of hitting the vehicle. Officers observed no damage to the vehicle to indicate a crash and the other parties had left by the time officers arrived.
