An Ohio parolee who shared an image of himself kneeling on a baby’s neck is back behind bars. The man posted the shocking image of himself with one knee on the neck of a two-year-old child. The image featured the shirtless, tattooed man with a knee apparently on a baby’s neck while another adult held the child’s hands behind its back. I’ll warn you, this image is disturbing.
Disturbing Photo
We’ve blurred the baby’s face, but in the original version, the child is seen screaming. A caption that appears to support the Black Lives Matter movement was placed at the bottom of the image.
Once the picture hit social media, it caused a firestorm. According to the Clark County Ohio Sheriff’s Office, “On July 21, 2020, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a posting on social media displaying a photo of an adult male in a kneeling position, with one knee on the neck of a 2-year-old child.”
Immediate Investigation
Two divisions of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office sprang into action. The officers began an investigation into where the abuse happened and who was involved.
Police were able to figure out where the incident took place and contacted the man in the picture, the mother of the child, and the baby.
Isaiah Jackson
The man, 20-year-old Isaiah Jackson is out on parole from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Sources said he was the mother’s boyfriend, though not the father of the child. Jackson was immediately taken into custody and locked up in the Clark County Jail. He’s held without bail.
The child was transported to a local hospital for a medical examination. Fortunately, he had no injuries.
The mother told police she had no idea that the photo was taken. The woman claimed she knew nothing about the incident until she was informed that the Sheriff’s Office was on the way to her home to investigate the incident.
The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing. The Clark County Prosecutor will decide what type of charges will be filed against Jackson.
