Ohio Toddler Killed by Dog in Relatives’ Home
In Ohio, a toddler was killed by a dog at her relative’s house.
She was attacked shortly after 10 am on Sunday in Akron.
An altercation between a woman and a man took place at the home, and at least one of the dogs became agitated during the fight. For unknown reasons, the pit bull turned its anger on the 16-month-old girl who was a guest in the home.
Shortly after being taken to a hospital, the child was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released the girl’s name, but they have confirmed that she does not live in the house.
There were no other injuries reported in the incident, which is still under investigation. There has been no word yet on how many people were present at the time or why the two people were arguing.
