On Welfare? Amazon Has a HUGE Discount For You

Amazon Prime Medicaid

Here’s a bit of good news for those of you who qualify for Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or EBT assistance. (For those of you outside the U.S., these programs provide financial assistance to low-income individuals.) Amazon will offer Prime membership for $5.99 per month, $7 dollars a month less than the normal $12.99 a year plan. Users will need to verify their status as eligible for benefits every 12 months.

Prime Membership includes streaming video, streaming music, and a lending library of eBooks and magazines. But the biggest benefit for those with tight budgets is the free 2-day shipping on just about everything. For many folks with medical, mobility, or transportation issues, being able to get just about anything delivered to your home within two days with no fees for delivery can be a big plus. If you’re someone who has problems transporting heavier items like cat litter, detergent, furniture etc… having items turn up right at your door.

How To Claim Your Discount

Or, if transportation is a problem, having household items available at competitive prices and delivered right to your door can be a big plus.  Users can also save up to 20% off items like diapers and baby food with subscription plans. Users cannot share the subscription with other members of the household.
